Where did Halloween come from?

Halloween is one the biggest festival of the years which is celebrated on the 1st of November of every year. in United states, every year almost $5 billion dollars are spent over Halloween just to celebrate it and to make it memorable till next Halloween. Halloween holidays is the second largest commercial holiday in United states ( USA ) , Canada, England and in all those countries where Halloween is celebrated to a high extent. On Halloween, the quarter of all candies are sold because all those people who wear Halloween costumes are given candies by people who are just roaming to see Halloween and how it is celebrated.

Is Halloween Wrong or Evil?

Halloween is never evil but it can be wrong. Halloween is not evil because all people used to wear scary costumes just to make this festival special rather than doing something evil with others. Halloween is a scary costume day for people on which they wore several types of Halloween dresses and collect ideas for Halloween costumes from the internet.

What Does Halloween Mean?

Halloween literally means a night before all the Hallows day and all the saints days . Halloween wasn't named as Halloween from the beginning. If we move back in the history then Halloween was an ancient Celtic harvest festival before. Long ago it was celebrated as Celtic harvest festival but later on it was changed to Halloween. 

Why was it named as Halloween?

1900 years ago in England and other countries like Ireland and northern France the Halloween was named as Samhain which was meant that on Halloween, all the souls of dead peoples mingle with the bodies of alive people. But later on when St. Patric and Christians arrived in these areas for a mission, people started getting into Christianity and they started Halloween by replacing Samhain and this way Halloween was fully brought to Life and now people celebrates it.
